For the third annual Space Apps Challenge, Ingenology brought together top Kansas City technology and design professionals to work on NASA's challenges. NASA sought to make a collection of stunning photographs captured by satellites orbiting high over Earth more available to the public. The NERO Project helps photographers learn about astrophotography and how you can use a DSLR camera to capture night sky images as a citizen scientist. After submitting photos, the system will auto-locate, categorize and attribute your images. Once our AI platform is activated, your photos will be analyzed to detect anomalies that will indicate a potential asteroid threat.
